BMW M3 Racing

The BMW M3 series of cars were originally produced for the race and tour models
joining Europe and Asia. This was and will always be evident on the cars dynamic
performance and sophisticated engine specifications. Automobile platforms such
as e30, e36, e46, e90, CSL and GTR were among the lineup that made up the racetrack
vehicles of BMW M3. There were also M3 platforms and trims that are especially
made for ordinary streets but can be modified to qualify in the racetrack.
The improved 3.2 Liter Inline-6 engines that rated 333 horsepower or a more powerful
444 horsepower mostly powered the vehicles that were made to compete in the track.
This engine was aptly paired with a six-speed manual transmission with Sequential
Manual gearbox that could shift the car in just a few seconds. Also, most of these
racecars have unique engine specifications and overall body dimensions different
from ordinary streetcars.
