BMW M3 csl

The BMW M3 CSL considered as a car that offers the combination of an ultimate
quickness and extreme driving experience. This car was produced using the so-called
"lightweight technology" according to its manufacturers. Using this kind of technology,
the makers have been consistent in reducing its weight using appropriate materials
at the right place. One of these materials is carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic,
most commonly used in Formula 1. With all these, the CSL gains an overall length
of just about 3,054 lbs but can still achieve high speeds particularly in bends.
There were also flaps on the outside that serves to reduce front axle lift by
a margin significantly.
The CSL also received engine enhancements that include re-profiled camshafts,
modified exhaust valves and a larger air intake. Such enhancements were able to
increase the car's engine output from 343 bhp to 360 bhp at 7,900 rpm. The paddle-shift
six-speed Sequential Manual Gearbox were also uprated which now changes the gear
in just about 0.08 seconds. Another aspect that has given the CSL a powerful and
responsive handling is the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tire that comes available
as an option. This CSL offered power-to-weight ratio of 3.85 kg/bhp and a 0-62
mph time of 4.9 seconds.
