BMW M3

The BMW M3 had been known in the market as a sporty car with sleek and responsive performance along with plenty of luxurious features. This type of car was first produced in Germany and Europe as was with most BMW models. Powertrain for this type of vehicle had undergone changes to fit the needs of each model year's trims especially the racecar types. Along with its powertrain, there were also changes in its overall body structure along with its features to further elevate its performance and appeals. Previously, ordinary streetcar versions of the M3 only carried an Inline-4 engine that only rated about 190 horsepower. As years gone by BMW manufacturers had found ways to improved their engines into Inline-6 and improved the rates of both horsepower and torque as well.

At present, most M3 carried a 3.2 Liter Inline six-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission rating a 333 horsepower. There were also modern technical features such as a double VANOS or an infinitely variable timing control located on both intake and the exhaust camshafts. There were also individual throttle butterflies for each of the cylinder with drive-by-wire throttle control and M Dynamic Driving Control. These features can then allow the driver to put the vehicle into sports mode and get a quick response on throttle inputs.

As the M3 evolved in the car world, there were several trims and models that were made available for the BMW lovers to choose from. There are the e30, e36, GTR, CSL, e46, e90, the convertibles and the coupes to name it. All of this trims got similarities in styles and designs that could distinguish it as member of the M family of the BMW clan.
